<PRE ID="original">This dataset is a 50 foot digital elevation model (DEM) of Westchester County.  The data represents an elevation surface of the County in a grid where each grid cell is 50 feet by 50 feet.  This 50 foot grid was produced using 50 foot contours from the County's base mapping project in 2000 (1"=100' mapping scale). The DEM was created using ArcGIS 9, Spatial Analyst Extension.</PRE>

<PRE ID="original">The DEM map is a multi-colored County-wide relief map which shows elevations shaded at 50 foot contour intervals.
