Description: This layer represents tax parcel polygons in Town of Rye Westchester County. It was assembled from collection of 2012 tax parcel assessment information of municipal jurisdiction. Data was obtained in tabular formats from NYS ORPTS and later joined with tax parcel polygon layers obtained by the Town of Greenburgh. The layer was spatially joined with NYS Zip Code polygon layer (http://www.nysgis.state.ny.us/gisdata/inventories/details.cfm?DSID=934), given that assessment data did not contain proper and accurate zip code and city information.
