This data layer consists of County, State, and Municipal Parks, Open Spaces and Parkway Lands. The layer was derived from the "wcospace" layer which serves as the master coverage of all county open space. A variety of sources were used to compile this information, including aerial photography, digital tax parcel data, and local recreation, land use and master plan maps. Other sources included municipal planning departments and consultants, conservation committees and the Westchester Land Trust. |
